comment on The internet is bad posted by faith on the 23/04/09

I completely disagree with your views on the Internet, this service is so helpful at all levels in our daily lives, it saves time, energy and money. You are the first person I have ever heard talking about the negatives of the Internet. Come on this is the 21st century, what happened to new technology?

comment on abortion posted by Liz on the 02/05/09

I felt physically sick looking at the photograph of a foetus on your blog,my goodness that looks terrifying. People should learn about sexual education, especially females because despite the fact that both the man and woman are guilty, the woman goes through more traumatic times. Medical reasons should be the only justification of abortion.

comment on One night stands blog posted by moomin on the 29/04/09.

A person who prefers one nights stands than a normal relationship must have been emotionally hurt or is lacking confidence, that practice is not normal. It is unsafe especially when you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

comment on Euthanasia :wrong or right blog by Yasmin steven's posted on the 03/05/2009

I completely support your opinion, euthanasia should not be compared to suicide. If a person is terminally ill and is under a lot of pain, this person should be given the choice of living or taking their life. It should be an informed decision.

Do you know someone REALLY, REALLY annoying? What do they do to annoy you?

I know someone who talks too loudly, repeats the same stories about 3-4 times in a day, slurps, farts, belches, refuses to pick up her feet when she walks, is always "sick" with some incurable disease and my favorite....talks 'baby talk' all the time. What do people do that annoy you?

comment on Sun beds blog posted on the 25/04/09 by Kate's column

I hope that people are told about the long term consequences of sun bathing as it is done for smoking. We live in a democratic society where people can do whatever they wish, and at the same time in the long term they will not have anyone to blame as they were not forced to sun bath.

Comment on Adopting from abroad blog posted on the 28/04/09 by kate's column

I completely disagree with you on this topic. The children in Africa are more in need of help than those in this country. The facilities you have in this country are practically nonexistent in the countries Angelina has been adopting kids. When you have a bit of time, go around the world and I am certain your approach about adoption, poverty and being orphan will change.Trust me on that.

I do not think that the government is doing enough about yobbos in today's society. They should stop hiding behind human rights and find a ruthless permanent solution to this problem. Is the government waiting for the day the prime minister will stabbed at number 10 before waking up!or while walking in the street. Send all this yobbos in a boot camp please, they will never be the same because it works.

Comment on Pope and Condoms posted by Life's a competition on the 22/3/09

This is incredible, I can not believe that a Pope can make such uninformed declaration about the spreading of H.I.V Aids. What on earth does he mean by saying that the distribution of condoms is not the solution to the fight against H.I.V Aids, Does he have a better solution?that is why I can not stand the catholic church, it is full of hypocrites.

Reply to smoking is cool blog posted on the 2/03/2009 by Charlottes Being Bad

I agree that smoking is represented as a glamorous pastime in the old films in particular. It is true that it is mostly male dominated in today's media. It is somehow more acceptable for a man to smoke that it is a woman but saying that it is cool, I doubt it.

Reply to teenage pregnancy blog posted by Being Bad PH1000 at 17:38 on the 05th of May 2009

Teenage pregnancy should not be allowed at all. In today's society we have children giving birth to children, what is the future for this country. Parents should play a big role is solving this serious problem that is destroying our youth, they have to sit with their kids and talk about sex education or clearly talk to them about the consequences of teenage pregnancy in somebody's life. That is how kids will have enough tools to face society.

Bad cinema

The interpretation of 'bad cinema' is very subjective. One persons opinion of what constitutes transgressive/bad cinema may well be another person's idea of 'good cinema'. As a father of two young girls, I am aware of the impact film can have upon an innocent and uncorrupted mind. The boundaries of film are so wide now that it is necessary to invigilate their content at all times. Sometimes it can be the most innocent of films that contain a transgressive nature. It is my opinion that any film containing violence in any shape or form, particularly that of a gratuitous nature or excessive nudity should be deemed transgressive. Film plays a big part in the culture of today's society, both good and bad, and should therefore be recognised for its omniscient influence.

Telling lies

I stand by my conviction that telling lies, however small, is a bad thing to do. Lies can only lead to more lies and a web of deceit that will surely come undone and end up with at least one person being harmed. I acknowledge that to some extent we all do lie, be it unconsciously or consciously. We all have to live with our own decisions and if we decide to lie then we also have to accept the consequences of that lie. Beware though, unless you are a very proficient liar with an extremely good memory your lie will come back to haunt you.

KIDS

I am undecided as to whether this film truly comes under the category of 'bad cinema'. I am well aware of its shocking nature and subversive undertones but feel that the overall content of the film serves as a cautionary tale for the age group intended. I believe that the message contained within the film is clear and provides a sobering reality check for all those complacent viewers who are under the illusion that we are all in some way untouchable.

Personal hygiene

Most men do not wash their hands after going to the toilet according to women. If this is to be proven true, certainly it should be classified as bad behaviour. Why?because it does not only affect the health of the perpetrator but also those around him. Would you want to put your hand on a door that had just been touched by a man who was holding his penis and urinating? I do not think so. Would like to share peanuts with a men in a pub? i doubt it. What do you think about these statements because after all we do not know what happens in the ladies toilets.

How can we improve the problem of young women chasing bad boys and treating good men poorly?

I think the family is the most important place. Other than that, I think I'm going to have to blame the victim and say that we need to make young men more aware of this tendency. They can then choose to date women who don't do this and/or not date as much until they're older. I know this tendency has its roots in evolution, but so does men's desire for a variety of mates. I think another change would be to give an equal amount of recognition and shaming that we give to some of the bad things that men do.If you think I'm whining, go ahead and point it out. I'll point out that this tendency has a larger impact than you might think on how all men percieve women, even the bad boys themselves.

Is nose picking a bad thing?

A bad habit, that is seriously nasty. That is why we have tissues, and if you need to bad enough use a piece of toilet tissue and if your desperate use your sleeve but, keep your fingers out of your nose.I think a lot of people do it (nose picking) in privacy, both men and women including myself. I want to stop it to prevent irritation or swelling or infection.

If someone you knew was a benefits cheat would you report them and why?

It's a hard one. It's obviously not right but it can be understandable and justifiable. It depends on people's circumstances. If it was say a mother struggling to raise kids, doing a little bit of work on the side and claiming, then no as it's understandable. If it was some bloke with a good job and no responsibilities then yes as he would just be taking the piss out of us all.Don't forget all the tax avoiders and evadors who cost the country billions, no one clamours to report them. Or big corporations who hardly pay any tax but make billions here and use our infrastructure...there is no big media campaign to make them pay up or feel guilty. No, the emphasis is always on reporting the poorest, the easy targets who are dole cheating for a reason.I think we'd be better off raiding multinational offices and discovering how they avoid paying tax rather than spending a lot of money on people diddling the state out of £100 a week.

Why do I cry when someone slaps my face?

It is both an issue of physical and emotional pain of being rejected, hurt, humiliated, etc.the physical aspect, is the pain receptors tell your brain that it hurt, the emotional aspect, is that no one wants to be embarrassed in public by being slapped. From either, or both of these pains, the emotional response is to cry.

How do I stop 3 year old from using foul language?

I have tried time outs, spanking, and ignoring. He has also learned to tolerate hot sauce and soap. Every time he doesnt get his way, he spouts off F-bombs, and G'D's like a pro. We also don't let him hear bad language as much as possible. We even told him they were "grown up" words. I have 2 other boys and neither of them went through this stage, so I don't know what is left to do.

KIDS

Despite the shocking nature of this film, i do not think that it should be categorized as bad cinema. In the contrary I will agree with the opinion of Janet Maslin (a film critic for New York Times)who called the film "wake up call to the modern world"about the nature of present day youth in urban life. This movie was not made to offend people, it was instead made with the intention of reaching a certain class in today's society that believe rebellion makes them untouchable. The message was clearly received that is the reason of a lot of controversy around the film.

why lying is always bad?

Lying is a very bad habit because it is deceiving, it is against religious beliefs and when the truth is set free it is painful. It becomes a bad habit once you start and in most of the cases the consequences of lying are usually worse than just telling the truth. When you lie, not only it give others a lack of trust in you and what you say, but it also make you have a lack a trust in others.

Can religion be considered as "being bad"?

Fanatics are the people who make religion be seen or looked at as being bad. They do not care about what the spiritual texts have to say about many issues, all they care about is furthering their own agendas which are usually contrary to overall beliefs. A typical example are the Taliban in Afghanistan, who gave them the mandate to say that women can not show any part of their body, it is not at all mentioned in the Koran. the Koran states clearly that a woman should keep hijab(her modesty),and cover their hair. I really disagree with such kind of treatment because at the end of the day, the relationship between God and an individual is not about appearances. What do you think?

Is gambling a bad thing?

Gambling is disturbing because it exploits human weaknesses. I think the reason religions like Christianity and Islam tell people not to gamble is because they recognize human frailty. Not everyone will prove to be a gambling addict, but if you don't gamble at all, you don't have to worry about this. There is nothing socially useful about gambling ,it generally does not promote better relationships among people and it does not produce anything useful. So why bother?

How do you avoid being the culprit of a bad fart?

Release it by walking away from your crowd..if the fart comes out loud despite your attempts to control it, then you should just pretend that it was your handphone vibrating against the things in your bag..dun let people know that it was you who farted ( caution: might not help if it is really a bad fart and the smell is unbearable and easily gives away the culprit )...

MASTURBATION

Personally I have not got a problem with mastubation.Masturbation is a healthy and normal practice, like daydreaming or napping. Even masturbating several times each day is completely harmless. You may encounter people saying that masturbation is bad or harmful, which is completely incorrect. In fact, recent studies suggest that ejaculating regularly isn't just fun, it can actually help prevent a certain kind of cancer later in life. A couple of years ago,my doctor told me that masturbation is a healthy normal part of life. Don't you think that it is wise to pleasure yourself instead of exposing yourself to sexually transmitted diseases, when you haven't got a trustworthy partner? I think so.

BANDITS AND OUTLAWS

WATCH THIS VIDEO CLIP
I am really sorry to say that the government should not feel sorry at all for bandits and outlaws. They are the cancer in today's society, they steal, kill, rape, hurt and destroy. As these people do not feel sorry for their victims, the Law of the land should take a similar stance towards them. These criminals are misbehaving in this manner because we are living in a democratic society where human rights are respected, this is the main reason of the soaring number of crimes. Bandits and outlaws should be sent to a place similar to Guantanamo Detention Centre for the rest of their lives with no option of parole. Simple as that. It sounds a bit harsh but I can assure you that it will work big time.

Body modification

Swastika tattooThe Social Psychological Perspective of Body Modification
I just keep reminding people that they need to think about the consequences of body modification. If you get a swastika tattoo on your forehead, don't be surprised if you have a hard time finding work. It isn't 'discrimination' when it is something that will freak the crap out of the target consumer. If you get pierced and don't take care of it, you can end up with an infection that can make you sick, make you lose an ear, or even kill you.A friend of mine was told by the doctor at the emergency room that if she would have waited 24 more hours before coming in to get her infected cartilage piercing looked at, the infection would have spread to her blood, then her brain, and then killed her.She had to go through a major reconstructive surgery after she was finally healed. It took years for her to get back to the approximate state she was in before she got pierced. You always need to be ready to accept the consequences of your decisions, but if you do, then I have no problems at all with you doing anything you please to your body.

SMOKING

WATCH THESE LIFE CHANGING VIDEO CLIPS BELOW

I am a non smoker but I was married to a smoker for a couple of years. It did not bother me when we were younger but as we got older, I hated the fact that she smoked and the smell was disgusting, I simply could not stand the smell of tobacco. Even my own clothes were smelling tobacco while I am not a smoker. Her teeth became yellow and the house also had nicotine stains all over it in certain parts of the house. I gave her a ultimatum to stop smoking because I could not stand the passive smoking any longer, but as we live in a democratic society she felt that I was interfering with her freedom. As a consequence, I decided to leave her for good for my own good.

INFIDELITY

what do I think about infidelity? In my opinion infidelity in a serious relationship is unacceptable. I have been cheated on once before and I absolutely loved the girl, and looked after her like a gentleman. After we broke up,and dispite the fact that I still loved her, the idea of taking her back was unthinkable . If you do not have trust in one another then there is really no relationship. Ever since she cheated on me,I have had a hard time trusting girls.I mean if you love someone with all your heart and you marry them, then you do not need to cheat on them. if you do, then you just have been lying to them the whole time. Infidelity is very painful,do not entertain it.

Smoking

My first daughter Danielle asked me if I was ever going to give up smoking. It is not the first time she has asked me the same question. Each time she asks me I tell her that one day I will give up. It is extremely sobering when someone so young confronts you with this issue. I feel so guilty for smoking and I feel even guiltier for not being able to have the willpower to stop smoking. I now have to avoid smoking in the presence of my daughter. How sad is that?

Bad cinema

The DEADLY BEES

(1967 - UK) dir: Freddie Francis; w/ Suzanna Leigh, Frank Finlay, Guy Doleman, Michael Ripper.

No skin; no gore.A burnt-out pop singer takes a vacation on a lonely island and then tries to find out which of the eccentric locals is breeding the murderous bee colony. Masquerading as a killer bee flick, this sleepy British mystery yarn involves quite a lot of wandering around an old farmhouse. Eventually, the (superimposed) bees make a few attacks, but even those are stretched out enough to make them sleepy. This is a low-budget and low-effort attempt from Amicus studio, and relies heavily on a cast of actors who are still working on achieving their second emotion. It's all right if you need something to put you to sleep. What do you think about this great movie? scary mate......

DRUGS

WATCH THIS CLIP

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz4Uk9hha7s

I am considering teaching my 13 years old daughter about illegal drugs ( gradually of course) although I am not sure if she is still too young. With the ever increasing presence of illegal drugs and easy access to them in the community,I am really concerned about the future of my daughter. I do not want the school to take the responsability of teaching my daughter about drugs, because I do believe that it is easier for a child to understand better and feel free to ask questions when they are taught by their parents. What do you think?

Smoking

Five top tips to help you quit smoking

I WILL RECOMMEND TO YOU "SMOKERS" TO WATCH THIS CLIP...!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn50mTEGnrU

1) Take up a new hobby, something you’ve always wanted to do like knitting, painting or cycling – it’ll keep your mind off smoking and make you a more interesting person in the process!

2) Keep yourself busy by tackling that nagging job that you've been putting off for ages. Whether it's tidying your desk or cleaning out your wardrobe, get on and do it.

3) Pick a friend and whenever you feel the urge to smoke use them as a helpline, allowing them to choose a suitable punishment for you.
4) Take five minutes out of your day to figure out how much you'll be saving by not smoking.

5) For every time you consider having a cigarette, put £1 into a jar and at the end of the week donate all the money saved to Comic Relief.

Telling lies with integrity

'George Bush lied 935 times to take USA into Iraq war.

Ex-president of the United-States George Bush should have been inducted for war crimes a long time ago. I can not honestly understand the difference between what Bush did vis-a-vis to the war in IraQ and Afganistan, and what Milosevic did during the Balkans war. These two people named above were both chief commanders of their respective armies, which means no decision was taken without consulting them. Bush was never arrested about his crimes in Iraq and Afganistan because he is simply a fantastic deceitful liar.It is as simple as that because it has been proven that the guy started the war for the wrong reasons.

What is being bad?????????????????????

The problem is that it has become politically awkward to draw attention to absolutes of bad and good. In place of manners, we now have doctrines of political correctness, against which one offends at one’s peril. By means of a considerable circular logic such offences mark you as reactionary and therefore a bad person. Therefore if you say people are bad, you are bad. And to state that a well-mannered person is superior to an ill-mannered one, it is to invite total humiliation.By nature, however, not meaning that, in which Adam was first formed ; for that, they say, was good; but that which he afterwards had, when he had transgressed, being now bad instead of the good, and mortal instead of the immortal nature, which he before had. Hence men being bad by nature, who before were good, now sin by nature, not by choice.
