Gambling is disturbing because it exploits human weaknesses. I think the reason religions like Christianity and Islam tell people not to gamble is because they recognize human frailty. Not everyone will prove to be a gambling addict, but if you don't gamble at all, you don't have to worry about this. There is nothing socially useful about gambling ,it generally does not promote better relationships among people and it does not produce anything useful. So why bother?Saturday 11 April 2009

Gambling is disturbing because it exploits human weaknesses. I think the reason religions like Christianity and Islam tell people not to gamble is because they recognize human frailty.
